The original title of this blog came after I was ranted at in the student union by someone who felt that students were a 'drain on society'.
It's stuck since then.

help with spam
Ok kids,
You guys are all in the know. How do I stop random spam messages, in Chinese from landing on my comments. I don't want to make comments moderated and even so, they still have Blogger accounts anyway!
Any ideas?

My suggestion would be to move your site off blogger and onto something like Posterous or Wordpress. They both have better anti-spam; Wordpress is better as far as I know for that. Both are free.
I agree with piers, my wordpress blog has really gone spam technologies plus I vet all comment before they go live, which stops any rubbish appearing on my site,http://

whoops - should read great anti spam tech...
I had that problem, just changed the settings so the moderation was on posts older than today's date and problem has gone away.
